Step 7. Once your iOS device is in DFU mode, you will notice that Redsn0w will start jailbreaking your iPhone. Once the jailbreak is entirely completed, you will be told the rest of the process takes place on your iPhone or iOS device.

The Pwnapple will be running on your device now, now you need to the Flashing Baseband step. This one takes very long time to finish. Therefore just wait till the entire process is completed. Your iPhone will take reboot, once the Ramdisk has fully finished its job.

Once your iPhone has finished rebooting, you will notice that it is running 05.13.04 baseband. Therefore you are free to unlock the device -- iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G using Ultrasn0w. To unlock your device, simply launch Cydia, let it update, then search for Ultrasn0w, once you found it then install it.
