Send AirPlay Video From iPad, iPhone To Windows PC, TV Using XBMC App

Have you ever wish to juggle your Windows PC or Mac into a fully functional media center? With XBMC you can! This is an awesome app I must say, and recently updated with improvements, one of which is AirPlay video support to wirelessly send videos from iOS based devices with XMBC running, like a Mac or PC. So now you can send AirPlay Video from an iPad, iPhone To Windows PC, TV using this XBMC App.

Once you have XMBC app, you are able to transfer AirPlay video from your device to PC, TV and Mac while juggling your computer into a media center that will be able to play any movie formats.

How to Send AirPlay Video from an iPhone to Mac, Windows PC, Linux or TV

  1. Download the XBMC app's latest version for free here.
  2. Open XBMC, then scroll over to System.
  3. And then select Settings from the submenu and click on Network.
  4. Scroll down and find Allow XBMC to receive AirPlay content, click the dot next to it so that it’s blue
  5. Optionally, set an AirPlay password (In most private network this is not necessary)

How to send / export AirPlay Video from an iPhone and iPad to XBMC

  1. Play a video from your installed video apps.
  2. Then tap the video in order to make control bar appears, then click on AirPlay icon.
  3. Now find for XBMC (and your computer name), click on it to begin the AirPlaying video.
