Fix iPhone Music Gone After iOS 4.2 Update Easily

Disappearing iPhone music is a bug found by many people after they upgraded their iOS to iOS 4.2.1, and probably you are experiencing the same condition too and feel confused or perhaps mad! Please don't throw your shoe to Steve Jobs yet, because (probably) he won't care.

Frankly your musics are not literally gone, so don't panic, it's just iPod app is unable to see them. Thus we need to make its eyes open and see your favorite musics again.

So here is the fix to disappearing iPhone music bug, just follow these steps:
  • Connect your iPhone and start iTunes
  • The phone appears under devices in the left-hand column; click the arrow to the left of it so your media categories appear and select music.
  • Play a song on the iPhone via iTunes on your computer.
  • Sync the iPhone again
  • • Re-open the iPod app on the iPhone
