A brief explanation about GreenPois0n tool is a low-level bootrom exploit to jailbreak all iOS 4.1 idevices for life. And it is said Apple need to release a revised version for all current iOS devices to patch the hole. GreenPois0n is probably an untethered iOS 4.1 jailbreak and only works for 4th generation of iDevices like iPod touch 4g, iPhone 4 also iPad, therefore iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPod touch 3G can use this a low-level bootrom exploit.
