Having Facebook group now is more exciting and fun, because now you can make your group chat with all the group members, not just one on one chat like usual. Furthermore this new group also make your conversations with all the members more personal and private, which means people outside the group won't know. Thus, you will be saved if say something bad (accidentally) about your boss, unless he's not registered as member of course. And your group is expected to be joined with people who have the same interest as you do.

You can also create mailing list with all the members within the group, thus you still can keep in touch with them, albeit you are not logged in to Facebook. This New Facebook group is one of the updates Facebook currently made, the other one, is download your data from Facebook.
