Cydia Merges With Rock Your Phone! The both names are likely popular for jailbroken iPhones users. They were competing to each other for almost two years, but now they are one, an alliance. Cydia, the giant storage to stores all jailbreak apps will be a lot bigger place since it will collect the additional unsigned apps because of the arrival of the entire catalog of Rock Your Phone which will be transferred soon.

It is also reported that the transfer also includes the customer app licenses, therefore the previous Rock's users who have never signed up to Cydia, they will be prompted to create accounts if they want to get into the Rock products.

The merger is based on the will to give the best for both customers and developers, instead of competing to each other. Thus, they promise to erase all the existing duplicate processes while focusing on growing the platform.

But according to some users experiences, they found that Cydia is slower compared with RockApp which is a lot faster, thus I am hoping the merger will bring the speed along with!
