So we can consider that the days of public release are numbered. However and unfortunately Pod2G has not yet given the ETA to calm the crowd.

Moreover to increase the tense I would like to inform you that recently a video demoing the iOS 5.1.1 untethered jailbreak posted in Youtube, by a guy that also a Pod2G's brother in arm, named Xvolks. On the video we are presented with a view we wish to happen to our device!

Xvolks uses the updated Absinthe version, Absinthe v2.0. Surely you know Absinthe, by it your current A5 based device jailbroken untethered. Xvolks has utilized the V2 to untethered jailbreak his device, then launch a demo video to show off to our nose that he has preceded us toying its jailbroken iOS 5.1.1 device. Oh mine! Pod2G is holding a poll to collects your votes regarding the release of untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.1, which is currently can not be jailbroken untethered. The poll gives you two main choices (the third? forget it), whether he should continue working on iOS 5.1 untethered jailbreak and then finish it or halt his project, to wait the release of iOS 6.0 (if Apple will name it 6.0) and then conquer it.

Because there is a big chance iOS 6 will be announced at WWDC 2012 in June. Therefore this French iPhone hacker thinks, why not saving energies and brains to welcome the upcoming iOS 6 and beat it, instead of diving deep into the iOS 5.1 to find vulnerable exploits to be delivered as untethered jailbreak?

Here is another unterhet jailbreak exploit found for iPad 3 (New iPad) on iOS 5.1, previously the iPhone Dev Team via its active member Musclenerd displayed a jailbroken iPad 3 on iOS 5.1 screenshot on Twitter (read the new iPad is already jailbroken).

Now i0n1c a.k.a Stefan Esser publicly launched a video demonstrating an untethered jailbroken iPad 3 or the New iPad. The first announcement was from Twitter, telling that his untethered jailbreak exploit was successfully ported to the new iPad 3.

This iOnic's discovery has added another option of what already available methods to untehtered jailbreak the new iPad, in total we have three jailbreak methods.

The New iPad Is Already Jailbroken (News)

Perhaps this news too late however nothing is too late for the good news, right? In case you are curious of what the good news is I tell you that iPhone dev team has managed to jailbreak the new iPad and announcing their successful through a screenshot of the new iPad's screen showing Cydia icon on top of the screen.

This news was firstly publicized through Twitter by MuscleNerd displaying Cydia 1.1.5 on the iPad 3 running on iOS 5.1. In case you miss that announcement on the screenshot, therefore I put red arrow pointer on the screenshot to easily see it that says iPad 3, iOS 5.1, Cydia 1.1.5.

This is of course a good news for users who have already bought the 3rd generation of iPad and also motivates people to buy the Apple's latest tablet computer.

However there is no further explanation whether it will be untethered or tethered jailbreak, but of course the notification will be disclosed soon.

Install Siri On iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G With Google Speech API Using GreenRiver SiriServer

If you own older device models like iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and then want to have Siri installed on those devices, not just successfully installed but also works too. Yes all people want that too. There are number of methods available already like using Spire, legit free Siri proxy SiriPort and AssistantConnect.

But if none of method works for you, perhaps you can try what GreenRiver SiriServer. It is another free Proxy Server to install Siri on older device.

And the great thing about GreenRiver SiriServer is doesn't take any iPhone 4s authentication tokens. GreenRiver uses GoogleSpeechAPI that takes speech packets and then convert them into speex codec to be sent to Google for processing purpose. After Google finished the process, it will then send what you spoke in plain text, and of course to use this service your iOs device must already be jailbroken first.

Now let's get into the steps to install Siri On iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G with Google Speech API using GreenRiver SiriServer.

Step 1: Firstly jailbreak your iOS 5 device first if you have not, you can user Redsn0w to jailbreak iOS 5 device of yours.

Step 2: Open Cydia, and search for Spire via BigBoss repository. Once you found the tweak, then install it. The file size is 100MB, so be patient while waiting for the installation process.

Step 3: Once the installation is complete, then reboot your iPhone.

Step 4: After Spire is installed, now get the new certificate (remove the old one if exist). To do so use your iPhone Safari browser and then open this url: http://siri.grwh.net/newca.pem in order to install the ceritificate.

Step 5: After you have managed to installed the certificate, then go to Settings > General > Siri and enable Siri to On (to enable Siri on your device).

Step 6: Now go to Settings> Spire and then add this Server Address there:

https://siri.grwh.net:1221 or https://siri.grwh.net:1222

Step 7: Now say “Hello Siri" while holding the Home button, if the voice assistant app responds your back saying Hello, that means you are connected. However a user say he waited until until 24 hours before the Siri finally work.

Update Your Firmware To iOS 5.0.1 Reminder

Another wise reminder for updating iOS to 5.0.1 was posted today and this time via BigBoss site.

This reminder post is specifically and especially for iPhone 4s and iPad 2 users who have not updated to iOs 5.0.1 firmware but still using older version than the mentioned firmware. So this what BigBoss says!

Yes guys, do so before it's late. Once Apple releases the final 5.1 firmware, there is only one chance for you is restoring to the said firmaware - unless, of course you are planning to unlock iPhone 4s of yours, that would be fine -- That means the 5.1 will close the door tightly for the A5 untethered jb once it's released.

So for both iPad 2 or iPhone 4s, drag your device to tastes iOS 5.0.1's offer A.S.A.P. If you really wish to untethered jailbreak it in the future. Update to using any methods, even via OTA update.

PlanetBeing Managed To Execute Unsigned Code On iPhone 4s, Latest A5 Untethered News

Perhaps you are asking yourself what else after this? Today, I want to inform you regarding the PlanetBeing recent's Tweeter's update to keep us notified the progress of A5 untethered jailbreak project, this time the man mentioning "unsigned code" he managed to execute on iPhone 4s running on iOS 5.0.1.
