Android Jelly Bean ROMs For HTC Sensation HTC Amaze 4G. HTC Sensation and HTC Amaze 4G users can show smiles now knowing their devices can have the latest and the greatest Android version, yes you can have Jelly Bean built from source for your HTC Amaze 4G and HTC Sensation.

Thanks to both XDA forum members, Sahil Lombar that brings Jelly Bean AOSP to the Sensation and Sportsstar89 using the form of CyanogenMod has made to bring AOSP to Amaze 4G.

However the both ROMs are still in alpha stage, therefore expect imperfect from them. Not everything works, but there are numbers of other features work.

Below is a list of features that work and don't work on the Sensation.

What Works?

• Core System
• Hardware Acceleration
• USB Storage
• Vibration Motor
• Bluetooth
• Multitouch
• Accelerometer
• GPS (Kinda)
• Sdcard

What Doesn't?

• Radio
• Wifi
• Audio
• Google Now
• Camera
• Light Sensors
• Button and Notification lights
• and many other things

And as for Amaze 4G:

Don't work.

• Wi-Fi (Got borked again)
• GPS
• GSM
• Camera

Don't worry the developers of the two ROMS are currently taking serious actions to solve the issues, therefore be patient until they come with the better version. However the current ones are considered stable enough, but it;s better not to use them as daily driver.
