Unlock iPhone With Face Recognition Using RecognizeMe Tweak For iOS 5

This is another Cydia tweak deserves promoting, it was released back in May last year but didn't perform too well on many iOS devices and also contains bugs. Now the tweak has been updated to RecogNizeMe 2.0 and brings support for iOS firmware.

And for those who don't know this app, RecognizeMe will allow you to unlock your iPhone using your face. Beside of that ability, it's bringing security too for your device.

So, if you want to set your iPhone to be more secure, beside having an iOS passcode lock enabled, then you can get the RecognizeMe installed that will use biometric facial recognition and the developer who brought this update available to use, Apocalipse, says the release has bug fixes that will make the tweak works much better and also faster.

RecognizeMe Cydia Tweak

The process is similar like the previous version that requires you to set up facial recognition using a training app. Once it's done, you can unlock your iPhone using your face, it will scan it for recognizing purpose, if it's confirmed then you are in!

Interested? Prepare $2.99 and then launch Cydia, find RecognizeMe 2.0 under Bigboss repository, but of course jailbreak your device first, using Absinthe, Redsn0w and or Corona.
