With this app your FB friends will always know your current location -- as long as you are not moving -- yes this app can detect your stop location and asking whether you want to update your FB status to notify your friends concerning your location.

And you don't need to open Facebook site to do so or open the massive FB apps, simply use your iPhone. And your static location will be sent to FB. LinkCheckIn uses the native settings.app for configuration purpose and it is running in the background.
