How To Root HTC EVO 4G LTE

This post is going to elaborate the steps to root HTC EVO 4G LTE, if you want to try it then you are pleased to follow. But keep mind, albeit the developer ensure this root is safe, we are out from any responsible for any data loss or problem that might be caused during or after the process. Therefore do it at your own risk.

How to root HTC EVO 4G LTE

For you to know that the once you've done rooting your HTC EVO 4G LTE, you will get the SuperSU and BusyBox. SuperSU is for unrooting your device.

HTC EVO 4G LTE

Step 1: For Windows users, update your existing driver with (x86 | x64). Afterward, download the Evo4GLTERoot.Zip, then extract it.

Step 2: Now double-click the file named, runme.bat. If the command prompts appears, then hold Enter in order to root your phone.

Step 3:  However, for people who use Linux, then you don't need to update any drivers. Simply unzipe the Evo4GLTERoot.zip in your Download directory, continue with open a terminal and then type the following command.

cd Downloads/Evo4GLTERoot
chmod 755 *
sudo ./adb-linux devices
Followed by:
sh runmelinux.sh

Step 4: No drivers are needed. Simply download and unzip the file link to your Downloads folder. And open a terminal to type the following:
cd Downloads/Evo4GLTERoot

chmod 755 *

sh runmemac.sh
Step 5: When you boot, the SuperSU app will appear in the apps drawer of your rooted device. And in case you wish to get back, means to un-root your phone, you can simply run SuperSU and then go to Settings > Full Unroot. Then the root will be completely removed.
