How To Install Hulu To Apple TV

Therefore let's install Hulu to your Apple Tv, here are the steps:

First off you need to jailbreak your Apple Tv using Seas0npass .

Step 1: Now set up your Apple Tv for the network access and get your Apple TV'S IP, by navigating to: Settings > General > Network

Step 2: Use this ssh root@ipaddressofyourapplet to SSH your Apple Tv in terminal window, but don't forget to change the ipadaddressofyourappletv with you IP adress (see the step 1).

Step 3: This one is not always happening, in case it is, then type yes and hit return if you are asked about stoing RSA keys. Enter alpine as password.

Step 4: You have SSH'd to Apple TV, now it is time to type the below commands.

echo “deb http://apt.awkwardtv.org/ stable main” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/awkwardtv.list
echo “deb http://mirrors.xbmc.org/apt/atv2 ./” > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/xbmc.list
apt-get update
reboot

Step5: Verify Apple TV reboots, and verify the XBMC option exists on the menu selection screen.

Step 6: Download the repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins.zip file, then place it within your Downloads folder. Keep the zip file intact without unzipping it.

Step 7: Now go to downloads folder by typing cd Downloads and type the following: scp repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins.zip root@ipaddressofyourappletv:/private/var/mobile/repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins.zip

alter the name: ipaddressofyourappletv with your ip address, see step 2.

Step 8: Launch XBMC, then navigate to System > Settings > Add-ons > Install from zip file > Home folder > choose the repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins.zip file that we placed to the Apple Tv, see step 7.

In this phase a message will appear saying: bluecop Add-on Repository Add-on enabled in the bottom right-hand corner. It is time to exit and restart XBMC.

Step 9: Once XBMC activated then on its main menu, then head to Videos > Add-ons > Get More… > Hulu > Install.

Step 10: Now go to Add-ons > Get More > Hulu and then choose Configure. Now enter your Hulu+ login account, like username and password and setup resolution with steaming options.

Step 11: Back to Add-ons > Hulu, now you can watch Hulu on Apple Tv.
