Mac OS X Lion Apple is reported to bring AirPlay Mirroring, iMessage application to Mac OS X
Apples is reported to bring the AirPlay Mirroring and an iMessage applications in the future version of OS X Lion, but the report also says that those applications are currently under development stage. If the development of the two applications are completed then we will see them in the next update of OS X 10.7 Lion. Here is the report from 9to5Mac:
Sources familiar with the future of Mac OS X say that AirPlay Mirroring and an iMessage application are currently in development. Although neither project may see the light of day, they are definitely on the table for release in future versions of OS X Lion.
Using AirPlay Mirroring means you will be able to mirror what is appeared on your Mac's display to an Apple TV connectod Tv or any external monitor without wire. And your QuickTime X will have AirPlay video streaming too. Having this application would bring useful ability to the conference room for corporate presentations. iMessage is speculated will be added into OS X iChat app, but there is a possibility this app is going to be a standalone product. But one thing for sure iMessage will connect to iMessage for iOS and will be used by all iOS 5 based devices as a free messaging client.
