It is interesting, Ballmer picked the word "Slate" not "Tablet", does it mean their upcoming iPad-killer will be powered by HP slate?
Looks like Microsoft is finally wake up after long slumber, to start competing with iPad, Android tablets also with the newest professional-grade BlackBerry PlayBook in tablet computer game. Ballmer also emphasized their company first-priority right now is to get back into game of phones.

The question now, can we take Ballmer's words seriously, yes he is a CEO of giant tech company, remember he was the one who revealed a few tablets at CES, but where are they now? But let's just hope we will have an iPad alternative available for Christimas, the one from Microsoft perhaps?
