Apple welcome this weekend with the release of the iTunes 10.5.1 with iTunes Match that supports Mac and Windows, however the iTunes Match service is for US only currently. If you are interested with iTunes Match and desire to use this feature you have to pay a yearly subscription for $24.99 and then you can store your music files and have them streamed using your iOS based devices -- such as iPhone, iPod touch, iPad.

The interesting part of iTunes Match is you can stream any music formats stored within your library, whether they were imported from CD'S or downloaded from the internet, you can play them without syncing.

You can sign up to iCloud if you are interested with this service and install iTunes -- the latest one --  once you've launched iTunes you will be seeing "iTunes Match" option to use this service.
