How To Unlock Google Nexus S Bootloader

The Google Nexus S, remember the one who I just posted about its availability in Best Buy store few minutes ago, is already been unlocked its bootloader. Do you know the reason as to why you want to unlock Nexus S bootloader? Because you will need access to install a custom recovery, in order to install custom ROMs.

So here is the steps to unlock Google Nexus S Bootloader:
  1. Turn your phone off
  2. Hold down volume up + power together at the same time
  3. As the result, you will in the standard recovery mode now
  4. Let's say you already installed Android 2.3 Gingerbread SDK with fastboot, now on terminal/windows or Windows cmd depending on OS type "fastboot devices" to check your device can be seem via USB
  5. Assuming you device is seen via fastboot devices, now type "fastboot oem unlock"
  6. Accept and well done and now your just purchased Nexus S bootloader is unlocked.
  7. Finish!
