Second-Generation Of iPad Will Have Front Facing Camera?

Apple iPad Second Generation Tablet

The second generation of Apple iPad will have 5-megapixel camera bot at the back side as well at front-facing side with VGA camera, this is according to Deweiler Fenton recent report. And Detweiler Fenton further saying that OmniVision Technologies will be supporting CMOS image sensors for this iPad next-generation.

Considering the tough competition (from BlackBerry Playbook and Samsung Galaxy Tab) iPad will be getting in 2011, it's not surprising Apple provide these awesome features for iPad. And it's also reported that OmniVision has already made sensors for iPod touch 4G and iPhone.

And the launch of the second-generation of iPad will be in the first quarter of 2011, probably at the same of the launch of the White iPhone 4 release or its cancellation.

With the existence of front facing camera, which means FaceTime video chat feature will be supported by iPad just like in iPhone 4 and iPod touch 4G. And Apple is expected to sell over 2.5 million iPad in the first quarter of 2011.
