Apple Approved IS Drive, A BitTorrent App

Knowing that Apple approved for BitTorrent app named IS Drive is shocking and surprising, as the company is widely known for refusing any apps which have internet piracy potential to be listed in App Store. But hey, IS Drive is there now for iPad, iPhone also iPod touch and ready to be plucked if you are willing to spend $4.99.

So this is the third surprising news, after previously and consecutively Apple approved Gv Connect and GV Mobile + apps. It seems the giant tech company is trying to make itself more app friendly, or as response for their jailbreak disapproval stance. As the more Cydia apps listed in their app, the more people will think twice to jailbreak? I don't think so.

Or maybe Apple didn't know the app is a BitTorrent based app? As the IS Drive simply calling its app an ImageShack Drive without words "Torrent" or "BitTorrent" within it?
“I always had the thought that if I didn’t call the app a “torrent client”, Apple would probably let it through the review process. After all, there is no real torrenting happening on the client side. It’s *not* a torrent client. It’s an ImageShack Drive client,” Kepner told us.

IS Drive is simply a tool to manage ImageShack's torrent download service, also you can manage downloads from other torrent sites like Mininova and IsoHunt.
