Update To Or Install Cydia 1.1.6

Did you know that Saurik has update Cydia to version: 1.1.6, albeit there is no change-log released officially for us to study but the reason of the update is given, which is to get rid the obsolete code that Saurik created for Twitter-inspired Dickbar to welcome the April Fools’ 2011.

And in this post I would like to share to you on how to guide to install Cydia 1.1.6 or update to Cydia 1.1.6.

Step 1. Open Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

Step 2. Tap “Upgrade Essential” on the pop-up window that will likely appear when the upgrade is needed.

Step 3: Select “Confirm” on the next screen, then allow the Cydia upgrades to install.

Step 4: Now “Close Window” after the installation of the Cydia upgrades is entirely finished.

Step 5: Now press “Home” button to exit Cydia.

Step 6. Launch Cydia again.

Step 7. Done.
