Update iPhone 3GS, 3GS Baseband Using PwnageTool Unlock Edition

In case your iPhone 3G or 3GS is still stuck on baseband: 05.14.02 or 05.15.04 you are left without a choice but to update to the eligible baseband version namely 06.15.00 in order to unlock your iOS 4.2.1 to get unlock ability at last.

For that purpose, you can use the latest release of Redsn0w 0.9.6b5 to update iPhone 3G, 3GS Baseband To 06.15.00, Redsn0w can be used for both Windows or Mac platform. But in regard of spreading information, in this post I would like to share the instructions to update your baseband using PwnageTool 4.1.3 (the unlock edition) for Mac only.
