AirPlay Will Be Updated With Safari Video Streaming & Third-Party Apps In 2011, Steve Jobs Says

Thanks to iOS 4.2.x serial releases then we have AirPlay on our iDevice now, we can watch the streaming video, audio also photos on our TV using Apple Tv from our device. But it's not accommodate our fully needs yet - there is no third-party apps available - only audio streaming can be performed using Safari.

Actually there is a Cydia app, named AirVideoEnabler to breaks the AirPlay limitations, but that's app for jailbroken device only, when we all know that not all users decided to jailbreak their iOS devices, thus they are seeking for solution to these restraints and expecting Apple to release full-fledged support for the feature on third-party apps through a public API developers could use for their apps.

But here is a good news, a reader of MacRumors sent an email to Steve Jobs and he received a response from the CEO saying that Apple hopes to present what it's supposed to be with AirPlay in the next year, here is the screen shot of their email-exchange:
Steve Jobs Replys Email About AirPlay Video Streaming
Q: Hi, I recently updated both my iPhone 4 and iPad to 4.2. I think my favourite feature is airplay. This is seriously amazing and makes sharing content seamless. I just purchased Apple TV and was wondering are you ever going to make airplay video work for videos in safari and 3rd party apps? I hope to get a response. :)

A: Yep, hope to add these features to Airplay in 2011.

So we just wait for the next year to get AirPlay (with Safari Video Streaming & Third-Party Apps) we wanted!
