Of course after undergoing several updates by Chronic Dev Team, Absinthe is reaching its peak and it comes out without this bug anymore.

However, some users are still reporting they are still owning the White icon because of using the first release of Absinthe untethered jailbreak for A5 device.

And the condition is like an itch on their backs, each time viewing their springboard.

Albeit, I have not used iWipe Cache but the developer claims it wipes your home screen icon cache, you can try it and prove it by yourself if you like. Once you installed then running the iWipeCache, your device will respiring and all the cache will be cleansed!

RIM has made good movement, as for me the company attempts to keep the interest of tablet fans on their BlackBerry Playbook or potential buyers by offering the Android apps compatible.

And yes, recently the Canadian-based company has announced their Playbook running on OS 2.0 software (at least) will be supporting Android applications in the near future.

And all the Android applications will be listed in their App World, and available both free or paid. And invite all the Android app developers to repackage their apps to be compatible with Playbook with 0S 2.0, as well as BlackBerry 10 devices.

Apparently things are busy on the Corona developments, as we all know we have two Corona versions released on the same day, firstly Corona 1.0-6 and followed by Corona 1.0-7, both of them to fix errors found on the each version.

It takes on the same day after the Corona 1.0-6 released to fix iBooks DRM bug that caused images not showing accordingly, now the Corona 1.0-7 was released too respectively and it is specifically for users with jailbroken iPad 1 who reported they experienced bug while upgrading to the version 1.0-6.

iPad 1 owners said they faced installation error during the upgrade, the report was filed and then responded by Saurik itself.

He then explained the Corona 1.0-6 had a "Depends" which caused installation failure on the first generation of iPad.

Therefore users are recommended to update to this Corona 1.0-7. Because the problem has been corrected!

Do you want to port or install Android Ice Cream Sandwich based on CM9 to your HP Touchpad? Sure you can, as the nice man of Android developers from Cyanogen team have made it possible to do so.

Previously the device received the CM7 running on Android 2.3, looks like they never get enough to serve Android community with something good to 'eat'.

However this ROM is still in Alpha stage, that means it's far from complete, don't use it for daily usage, but take it as test to enjoy the mediocre features of ICS for your TouchPad. Anyway let's install CM 9 Android ICS on HP TouchPad.

Things you need:

Download .jar file from Google Code site, then Run the file.
Download all these files.
- New ACMEInstaller
- Clockwork Recovery (hasn’t been updated, so only install if you don’t already have it)
- Moboot
- Alpha0 CM9 for TouchPad

Instructions.

Step 1. Place the ACMEInstaller to the same directory you put Novacom files.

Step 2. Plug your computer with your HP touchpad, then enable USB mass storage mode, simply tap the USB notification.

Step 3. Make a new folder inside your ToucPad using an explorer tool, then name the folder cminstall, and then put all the files you have downloaded in the step 2 above -- don't extract the files, just put them in the folder.

Step 4. Restart your HP TouchPad, after it restarted, hold the volume button for a while until your screen becomes dark, immediately hold the volume up button until a big USB icon appears on your device screen.

Step 5. Now click Start > search cmd on your PC. And then type cd: \ , you will be taken to root directory. Type dir to access the entire directories list.

Step 6. In My Computer, search for cd Program Files and then ENTER, continue with search cd Palm, Inc and then ENTER.

Step 7. Enter novacom.exe boot mem:// < ACMEInstaller2 in the command prompt (See the step 6 above for example).

You will find out the text running lines on your screen device. Wait until the process finish. Once it does, boot into Moboot. Another options, you can boot into CyanogenMod by pressing Home button.

And that's all you have installed Android ICS based CM9 to your HP TouchPad.

Finally someone put an attention on us, Windows users, because now there is a chance we can jailbreak iPhone 4s, iPad 2 untethered using CLI tool for Windows PC. Albeit this one is going to take longer effort than using Absinthe untethered utility, but it's better for temporarily workaround, until both Chronic or iPhone dev team release Absinthe for Windows, it's already released guys, please go to download Absinthe for Windows (v.0.2).

Update you can easily jailbreak iPhone 4s, iPad 2 with Absinthe for Windows and Mac OS.

Jailbreak iPad 2 and iPhone 4S untethered using CLI Tool for Windows OS.

Step 1: Download the zip file of CLI tool from this link and, once you've downloaded you will see a file zip named cinject_0.4.3 and then extract it.

Step 2. After it's extracted place the extracted file folder within your desktop or anywhere that can be found easily.

Step 3.Use USB cable to connect your computer to your A5 device.

Step 4. Now open Run from your Windows -- Start > type Run, and in the Run prompt box type cmd.exe.

Step 5. Change the location of the directory where the cinject_0.4.3 folder is placed. If it's in your desktop then type the command cd Desktop/cinject_0.4.3, to direct you into that directory.

Step 6. Now it is time to execute the command: cinject.exe -i payloads/jailbreak.mobileconfig.

Now tap on install on your A5 device in INSTALL PROFILE BOX, continue with tapping Next. And if your device is asking for VPN password then press DONE button.

Step 7. Once finished dealing with step 6 above. It is time to execute the command: cinject.exe -j payloads to jailbreak your iPhone 4s or iPad 2, direct it to the required payloads direction.

Step 8. execute the command: cinject.exe -w.

Step 9. Now set VPN toggle to ON. And don't worry about VPN CONFIGURATION ERROR OCCURRED, simply ignore it by clicking OK. And your device will reboot.

Step 10. Once it rebooted Absinthe icon will appear on your device, then tap it to complete the jailbreak. Or if you see Cydia icon instead after executing cinject.exe-w in step 8, then good for you because you can load Cydia at that phase.

Done now you have a jailbroken A5 device shinning on your hand:).

Want to fix Absinthe White Screen (Page)? Here is another fix you probably need if you are experiencing the Absinthe icon white page, this happens when your tap Absinthe icon on your A5 screen then you get the white screen. The VPN toggle does not fix the bug.

Some users say that is happening because of a PIN Lock you use. So to fix Absinthe icon white screen or white page, is deleteing email account and then disabling the PIN lock and then re-run the jailbreak, afterward Set VPN toggle to ON mode. That should fix the Absinthe white screen.

And alternative solution, albeit the above is reported to able to solved problem for some users, but there are others who didn't make it. So the alternative solution is.

1. Without deleting email accounts, but still disable PIN,
2. Close the Absinthe app, then rerun it,
3. You will see another white screen but don't panic, now set VPN to ON, then reboot,
4. Aha! Cydia shows up now.
5. Means your iPhone 4s is jailbroken!

If you have, and you are currently experiencing with bugs -- like camera roll empty, or error establishing a database connection -- found like others users who have jailbreak their A5 with Absinthe. Then this post will help.

Oke here are the workaround to fix Camera empty and error establishing database connection after untethered jb with Absinthe:

First bug: If the jailbreak is not complete, camera roll is empty. Rerun the Absinthe app once to fix, and then another time to complete jb.

Second bug: Or you find another bug which is server is down and getting an error message: establishing a database connection:

Firstly turn off your iPhone 4s, iPad 2 passcode, before running Absinthe.
Then you need to press the Settings icon on homescreen and set the VPN to ON (but before turn it to ON, remove any existing VPN configuration except "Jailbreak) and you will receive error, just wait and your device will take an automatic reboot (press power and home together to force reboot if it doesn't reboot automatically.

Don't Upgrade To iOs 5.0.1 If Want Unlocking iPhone 4s

Opposite from untethered iPhone 4S jailbreak recommendation to upgrade your iOS to iOS 5.0.1, but if you are wishing to unlock your iPhone 4s then it's recommended no to upgrade to the said iOS firmware, instead downgrade it to previous iOS (5) if you already upgraded and if that's possible or stay with your existing firmware.

I know this is not the news we all are expecting, let alone your OS is 5.0.1 now. But this one is recommended by the MuscleNerd and spread for the first by iClarified site.

MuscleNerd said that the standard operating system procedure for unlocking using Ultrasn0w is staying at the lowest possible baseband. He further saying those who their phone running on iOS 5.0.1 to check their build number and then downgrade it to 9A406 to 9A405 -- as Apple still signs those builds. And the earlier build number has bigger chance to be unlocked than the later build.

But also please read the following quotation from iClarified site.

We can't guarantee an unlock will be found for iOS 5.0. However, in November MuscleNerd revealed that an unlock was looking 'very promising' and was able to use an exploit to dump the baseband bootrom. However, it's not clear if or when an unlock based on that exploit will materialize.

So the choice is yours to take which one you need most, whether jailbreak your iPhone or to unlock it, choose wisely then.

alter the name: ipaddressofyourappletv with your ip address, see step 2.

Step 8: Launch XBMC, then navigate to System > Settings > Add-ons > Install from zip file > Home folder > choose the repository.bluecop.xbmc-plugins.zip file that we placed to the Apple Tv, see step 7.

In this phase a message will appear saying: bluecop Add-on Repository Add-on enabled in the bottom right-hand corner. It is time to exit and restart XBMC.

Step 9: Once XBMC activated then on its main menu, then head to Videos > Add-ons > Get More… > Hulu > Install.

Step 10: Now go to Add-ons > Get More > Hulu and then choose Configure. Now enter your Hulu+ login account, like username and password and setup resolution with steaming options.

Step 11: Back to Add-ons > Hulu, now you can watch Hulu on Apple Tv.

Apple Chooses Samsung And LG Display To Supply LCD Panels For iPad 3
